- Volkswagen Group Retail Spain and Condis are among the hundreds of clients who use its Recruitment and Selection software.
- Founded in 2013, last year it exceeded the €1 million turnover mark.
- At the end of 2016, it launched Inbound Recruiting, a recruitment methodology that has attracted the attention of giants such as LinkedIn and companies such as Adecco, CPM and Caprabo.
Endless selection processes, zero communication between companies and candidates, and outdated job sites full of endless questionnaires. Esta es la triste realidad a la que uno se acostumbraba cuando busca empleo. Esta es la triste realidad a la que uno se acostumbraba cuando busca empleo. This is the sad reality that one gets used to. So much so that 43% of candidates say they would rather be rejected than receive no information about the process. looking for work.
Aware that the world had changed and that formulas from the last century could not be maintained in the digital age, in 2013 Ana Izquierdo, Iván Sala and Toni Gimeno launched Talent Clue, a software that allows Human Resources departments to better organise all their selection processes and increase their productivity and efficiency. All of this puts the candidate at the centre and humanises the selection processes.
‘In 2017, many recruiters continue to organise themselves using Excel spreadsheets and are buried under mountains of paper CVs. This is something we must eradicate as soon as possible,’ says Ana Izquierdo, CEO of Talent Clue, who believes that many companies are making great efforts towards digital transformation but that there is still much room for improvement.
These advances are undoubtedly reflected in the growth of Talent Clue, which in 2016 exceeded the €1 million turnover mark and is now the recruitment tool of choice for hundreds of companies and around 8,500 recruiters worldwide. This growth has also been reflected in its workforce, which has increased fivefold in just three years.
‘It has been very exciting to be part of this process. Three years ago, there were twelve of us in the office, and now there are over sixty. Fortunately, we have managed to maintain the start-up spirit: we are constantly implementing improvements, and all ideas are heard,’ says Toni Gimeno, CMO and one of the company’s founders.
Inbound Recruiting, when dreams come true
Without a doubt, the most important milestone in Talent Clue’s brief but successful history took place on 14 December 2016. On that day, the company presented Inbound Recruiting, the revolutionary recruitment methodology that companies such as LinkedIn have already adopted, to more than 1,500 people worldwide. ‘That day, our dreams came true,’ recalls Gimeno.
With this system, Talent Clue seeks to adapt Human Resources departments to the reality of a digital age in which job seekers have more power than ever before. The candidate reads reviews about the company, checks out its website, or contacts employees to ask about their experience. ‘Ignoring this situation is a very costly mistake for companies,’ says Izquierdo.
The solution is simple: just as companies have websites to offer their products and services to potential customers, they must now have job pages designed to attract, win over and hire the best candidates. In short, traditional hiring processes must be turned on their head.
‘Companies must adapt to this reality if they want to continue attracting talent. Candidates read Amazon reviews before buying and choose their holiday hotel based on Tripadvisor reviews. Why wouldn’t they do the same when looking for a job?’ says Toni Gimeno, CMO of Talent Clue.
While Inbound Recruiting continues to gain followers, including companies such as CPM and Caprabo, Talent Clue continues to work on features for software that more and more companies are placing their trust in. ‘We are developing improvements and tools to continue revolutionising the Human Resources sector. You will soon hear some great news from us,’ concludes the company’s CEO.
